A hardtop is a style of sedan with little to no B-pillars. It sort of 'looks clean' depending on the person.

They never debuted a hardtop sedan moreso than a coupe, but it did catch on with the late 80s models.

Thanks that's why I asked - I've seen plenty of hardtop sedans but not a wagon.
